Training Logs March 18-31, 2019

Training Log March 18-24, 2019: 48.2 miles.

Monday – REST DAY!!


Tuesday – 9.0mi @ 8:39. On the hotel treadmill (in California for work). Easy warm-up, 2mi at MP, cool-down. MP was 7:08 and 7:00. Felt good. Strong.


Wednesday – 6.6mi @ 9:03. Back on the treadmill. Nice and easy.


Thursday – REST DAY!!


Friday – 4.9mi @ 9:17. Treadmill again. Just a comfortable run.


Saturday – 1.3mi @ 9:22. Super easy shakeout. Glad to be back outside!


Sunday – 26.4mi @ 7:25. Los Angeles Marathon. Check out the race recap!



Training Log March 25-31, 2019: 45.8 miles.

Monday – 2.0mi @ 11:34. Walk/run to loosen up. Calves sore from inclines, otherwise just a little stiff overall.


Tuesday – 6.3mi @ 9:19. Back home! Actually, got dropped off on the way home from the airport for a easy run the rest of the way 😊.


Wednesday – REST DAY!!


Thursday – 7.4mi @ 8:07. Steady effort over the bridge. Legs feeling okay.


Friday – 8.0mi @ 8:44. Took the first half easy, then picked it up for a few miles. Not hard, but a bit more than steady (8:07, 7:41). Finished out easy.


Saturday – 12.0mi @ 8:16. Warm but overcast made for great running. Kept a solid steady effort, even into the 10+ mph winds!!


Sunday – 10.0mi @ 9:10. Windy, windy, windy. Kept it easy.
