February 2019 Training Logs

Training Log February 4-10, 2019: 40.6 miles.

Monday – OFF RUNNING! Stability session.

Tuesday – 3.5mi @ 8:38. Focused on continued recovery, so kept it easy peasy.

Wednesday – 7.0mi @ 8:36. Felt myself pushing, so worked to keep it easy. Only slight tightness in the knee/hamstring.

Thursday – REST DAY!!

Friday – 10.1mi @ 7:36. A bit cooler weather made this a fantastic feeling steady effort.

Saturday – 13.0mi @ 8:36. Kept it nice and easy. Knee barely noticeable!

Sunday – 7.0mi @ 7:52. Felt good, so threw a couple of hard miles in this mostly easy run. Stability session.


Training Log February 11-17, 2019: 73.7 miles.


Monday – 6.3mi @ 8:50. Tight to start, but loosened up over an easy run. Physical Therapy (PT).

Tuesday – 6.9mi @ 8:46. A bit sore from PT, but otherwise felt good. Kept it easy.

Wednesday – 5.0mi @ 8:54. Keeping it easy. At home PT exercises.

Thursday – REST DAY!!

Friday – 2.1mi @ 8:42. Easy shake out. Leg is still not 100%, but much better.

Saturday – 26.8mi @ 7:59. Mainly Marathons – Florida. Recap coming soon!

Sunday – 26.5mi @ 8:58. Mainly Marathons – Alabama. Recap coming soon!



Training Log February 18-24, 2019: 86.0 miles.

Monday – 26.6mi @ 8:37. Mainly Marathons – Mississippi. Recap coming soon!

Tuesday – 27.1mi @ 8:19. Mainly Marathons – Louisiana. Recap coming soon!

Wednesday – 26.6mi @ 8:41. Mainly Marathons – Texas. Recap coming soon!

Thursday – 1.5mi @ 12:36. On hotel treadmill. Walked the first few minutes to loosen up.

Friday – REST DAY!!

Saturday – RECOVERY DAY!– long walk with Marlin.

Sunday – 4.2mi @ 9:10. Nice and easy recovery run. The bothersome leg still not 100% (did I expect it to heal while running five consecutive marathons?), but much better.
